COSORI Air Fryer , 5.8Qt Fryer Oven Oil-less Cooker Review In Our Tiny House Kitchen

We bought ourselves something nice this last Christmas. A Cosori Air Fryer for our tiny house! We’ve been thinking a lot about the functionality of our tiny home kitchen. I really love to cook. It’s a stress reliever for me, and it’s nice to care for loved ones this way. I love sitting down to dinner with Tim. Plus, it saves money! But sometimes, my schedule runs into dinner time, and by the time I get home, I just want to whip up something simple and healthy. We also knew we wanted to replace our toaster oven with something a little more updated, and let’s be honest, faster. We also do leftovers a lot that take forever to heat through. I figured, why not have a dual function device? I, of course, thought of the Instant Pot. Time saver! But I wasn’t sure about the reheat function. A few of our friends have raved about their air fryers, shout out Hugo. I had my eye on that instant pot, but Tim talked me into the Cosori Air Fryer. He mentioned fried Brussels sprouts enough times to win me over.

I’m not kidding, I have made almost every meal with this air fryer since it got here. It’s the greatest thing. I joined a Facebook group/cult where they share air fryer recipes, troubleshoot, and swap tips for their air fryers. Or for short, AF. 😂 It’s been fun to follow some of their recipes and get to know my new friend the air fryer.

So what is an air fryer? Basically, it’s a tiny convection oven, perfect for our tiny house kitchen. It gets really hot really fast and circulates hot air around your food instead of heating stagnant air like a regular oven. Its called an air fryer because it accomplishes the same texture with less or no oil. Really, it’s more like a marriage between frying and baking.

We chose the Cosori 5.8Qt air fryer since it’s very compact but large enough space to cook us both a meal, 5.8Qt. Cleanup is super easy with the nonstick basket. The basket slides all the way out and detaches, so it’s very simple to hand wash. Tim loves the 11 preset touchscreen buttons since its easy for him to press and go without overthinking it, even tells you when to shake it and has a preset “Keep Warm” options. All with a two-year warranty which is always nice.

The one complaint I have is that the four feet the air fryer sits on get super hot or something and leech all the moisture out of my butcher block countertop, leaving white marks? We have resorted to setting it on top of the cutting board when it is running to prevent this. I would say that this is my only criticism.

Overall, I love this thing. I’ve tried out lots of fun stuff that I wouldn’t without this product, because of the fried element. It’s makes cooking and reheating easy and fast. We both thought this would be great for a tiny house with a smaller kitchen because of the diversity it brings to the kitchen. Highly recommend the Cosori Air Fryer!
